UPDATE: Deadline extended to September 7, 2018 [POLSKOJĘZYCZNA WERSJA PONIŻEJ] PHD POSITION IN FORMAL PHILOSOPHY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GDAŃSK The Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Journalism at the University of Gdańsk invites applications for one doctoral position. First 12 months of funding start with October 2018, with the possibility of subsequent year-long extensions (conditional upon satisfactory progress) up to 36 months total. The candidate will be required to pursue their research and their PhD program at the University of Gdańsk (Poland) under the supervision of prof. Rafal Urbaniak within the research project titled Conceptual, formal and practical aspects of forensic and judicial applications of probabilistic tools funded by the Polish National Science Centre.
