This is done in a proof system which is a bit different from what one might see in an intro to logic class, but there are no clear reasons not to call this a proof-theoretic characterization. Since AI is often involved in the decision-making process, a puzzle for a mathematical philosopher arises: how do you define fairness so that the definition is precise enough to be applicable to predictive algorithms and so that philosophically it still seems plausible? This is the seventh conference in the Entia et NominA series (previous editions took place in Poland, Belgium and India), which  features workshops for researchers in formally and analytically oriented philosophy, in particular in epistemology, logic, and philosophy of science .  The distinctive format of the workshop requires participants to distribute extended abstracts or full papers a couple of weeks before the workshop and to prepare extended comments on another participant's paper.
